Goal 3 Module 6 Application Activity

Consider the assessments used within your own identification process (you can go back to your activities from Goal 2).

Reflect on the following questions:

  • What are your services offered? Do the assessments used in your identification system conceptually or empirically align with your services?
  • How reliable are the assessments currently used?
  • How are criteria combined? Think about interactions among CASA criteria.
  • How expensive are your assessments? Do you need all of them to achieve the results intended?
  • How do the criteria (and specific cutoffs/norming practices) impact access across a range of demographics?
