MODULE 2.1
OVERVIEW OF THE CASA CRITERIA
Objectives
- Explain how the CASA criteria can be used as a tool for evaluating your identification system.
- Explain how cost, Alignment, Sensitivity, and Access are important considerations for measuring an effective identification system.
- Explain how the CASA criteria are not to be considered in isolation as they are interrelated. As one CASA criterion changes, the other criteria are affected.
Learning Tasks
- Watch Goal 2 Module 1 Video
- Complete Goal 2 Module 1 Application Activity (recommended)
- Read Goal 2 Module 1 Additional Resources (recommended)
GOAL 2 MODULE 1
Watch the following video over the Introduction to the CASA Criteria.
Goal 2 Module 1 Application Activity
- Why are the CASA criteria important to consider together?
- How might you apply CASA to your setting?
- If you change one CASA criterion in your identification system, how does that impact the other CASA components?
